| Review of Global Porn Stars:
New Sensations (NS) is the company behind this website which means we are already talking about DVD releases that finally made it to the web. The site recently launched (Feb 2005) however the clips we get here are from old releases that I'm not actually sure are produced by NS themselves but seem to be Redlight distributed originally. From what I can tell these date back to 2001 so it's really just a "compilation" site. I guess when one goes for a Pornstar site these days then the content will be a bit dated because how many "stars" are there truly these days? And out of those that might be, how many do not work for Vivid?... I thought so ;).
Well in all fairness the internet porn models are making bigger and bigger names for themselves, either that or that's just my perception now because of all the time I spend looking at porn here. Also the Redlight movies are quite known in the offline world as well and they have spawned a lot of the names we see here. I picked a few of the names that I thought some of you might recognize: Elizabeth Del Mar, Austin O'Riley, Loni and Angel Long (I could name more if I counted models only featured in picture sets). To be honest the other names didn't ring any bells for me, I have seen most of them before but I wouldn't categorize any of them as pornstars.
This site really does misrepresent itself on it's tour pages in my opinion. They display pictures of girls that do appear on the site but only featured in medium resolution pictures and not starring in any movies. An example would be Brittney Skye who is shown on the front page with very clear indications that the site offers "DVD quality movies"… OK, don't get burned by the fact that it's displayed for each model because it only means that the site in general features movies of DVD quality, not necessarily that a movie with this model is available. This is true for a lot of the models featured on the tour!

Pictures:
The picture sets might actually be the best reason for joining this site if you are a collector and you are looking for some sets for a specific model, but beware, they usually only feature one or two sets per model. Other than that the resolution is mediocre but at least they are usually sharp. 90 models have picture sets and some have as many as 6 sets featured but that's more the exception than the rule.
Movies:
The movies are all available as high quality mpegs and only mpegs. You can choose to download them segmented or as one big file but there is only one quality level and I would agree that it's high. DVD quality is always risky to brag about but they are very good quality overall, I would even say high. At the time of this review there were 23 scenes available and the site is supposed to be updated with a new clip at least once a week. It's hard to check up on as nothing is dated and no update schedule.
The site features some nice extra stream sites such as brunob, hardcoretraining, peternorth etc. you might know these very well from other sites as they are very saturated by now, but then again if you haven't seen them before you will enjoy them as they are high quality sites, still these are only streams.
Mixed in with links to the feeds sites are banners for "friends" sites, these are just upsell ads and nothing more but you have to look at them on every page along with all kinds of wonderful adult products. This along with a very blank design (white) makes the site very impersonal and simply comes off as cookie cutter.
Conclusion:
This site was created in a snap by NS to add to their site lineup. Usually when NS spins off their own content the end result is great but in this case where they are using another distributor's content it's just plain boring. For pornstar fans there is nothing here for you other than some second rate pictures, the movies really only feature no-name models. I can't recommend this site despite nice quality movies.
