| Review of Nasty Angels:
First Impressions:
Hmm, another one from the Eastern European and former Soviet bloc indie porn producers. I'd really like to know how many euros or dollars it takes to hire a cute young woman to have sex with your friends and appear on your website. I've got a sneaking suspicion that a lot of the stuff out there is produced for peanuts. Hey, I got no beef with low budget smut, so long as the sex is hot and the contents' technical specs are at least decent. At first glance, this one looks like it might be a contender.
Scoping It:
After I cruise around for 10 minutes or so, I realize that being low budget in terms of the service providers hosting your content can really cause annoyance for high bandwidth downloaders. This site has felt very sluggish to me from the beginning, and I've checked back a number of times in the last 3 days to make sure it's an ongoing issue. The other thing I discover rather quickly is that my download managers aren't going to be much use here. Like a lot of sites I've seen recently, nasty-angels.com manages to embed the links to downloadable content behind bothersome little .php files. Smart users of download managers might be able to cut and paste the content URLs, but what this effectively does to my lazy ass is to limit me to only two simultaneous downloads. Problem is, if I've got two files going at once I can hardly navigate the site at all. There's no question about this being a bandwidth problem at my end. This is small site at the moment, and the amount of download bandwidth a member can grab at once is definitely limited. This is much less an issue for dialup users, however.
These considerations become less important when the content is really smoking, of course. I never waste readers' time trying to describe the beauty of various models on a site I'm reviewing. Tastes just vary too much. What I will say is that I found there to be a very consistent standard throughout the fifty or so short, original film they're offering at the moment. To my eyes, the vast majority of the featured models here are cute and definitely young enough to firmly put this one in the teen category. In addition to the flics, there plenty of photos here. The size/resolution seems pretty consistently to be right around 600X800, or about 140K per pic. Galleries are conveniently available as .zip file downloads, but you're limited to 20 pics per zipped folder. Given that the galleries are often well upwards of 100 photos in size, that does mean a bit more clicking around and navigating of what I've already said is a fairly pokey site.
The movies come in only one quality, and thankfully the recent content looks really good. Everything's in .avi format, and it's coming in at around 9 megs per minute of video. Granted, the early stuff looks really blocky in comparison, but the current quality more than makes up for the minor annoyance of having to use a playlist or editor application to join the twenty or more segments that make up a single short movie. Again, for users with limited bandwidth, this is much less of a hassle. Particularly good for the dialup crowd is a feature allowing you to change the number of video clips (or photos) that appear on a page and, in doing so, change the number of zipped segments you get in a single .zip folder download. Even at twenty short clips per page, though, many films require two individual downloads.
I always feel responsible for saying something in response to that age-old question, "just how filthy is it?" Photo content is divided into soft- and hardcore and the films show the same split. At the fluffy end is strip tease and masturbation stuff and at the nastier end is and a lot of meat and potatoes, girl-boy stuff with the occasional anal scene thrown in for good measure. Need I say more?
Parting Shots:
When I balance the annoyances against the pleasures I end up feeling pretty much neutral about nasty-angels.com. It has straight-up original content going for it, if not a stunningly user friendly interface. If amateur teen porn is your thang, this may be worth having a look at, even at the usual full-price $30 membership. For a while I was sure I was listening to Polish, then I was sure it was Russian, and at least some of the models are Russian. In short, if you speak and read English well enough to get through my long-winded reviews, you probably aren't going to understand a word of what's going on in the films. In terms of the language of love, most of the teens here really do seem to be fairly inexperienced, which is either good or bad depending on what you're into. In the end, I'm not excited, but I can fully see how some collectors would be. As always, look carefully before you leap.
