Review of Class Amateurs:
Classy porn sites take the art of porn to a whole new level. Not only do you need the hottest women, the best camera work, the nicest outfits.. but you also need to make something to appeal to the most disinterested hardcore sex fanatic as well. Certain sites try for this and just cannot do it. Other sites are mildly successful. It sure is a tough nut to crack, and classiness gets covered here on Class Amateurs.

Class Amateurs is just that- a softcore-ish site trying to focus on class and beauty instead of your typical sex stuff that you find a porn site. They use pictures as their main source of material. There are a few, very short video clips, but for the most part this is a picture site. Class Amateurs is, as their name would lead you to believe, completely amateur. The webmistress is also one of the sites primary stars, and all the other girls are also completely exclusive. Very nice feature, as a lot of classy sites have recycled material. Let's get on with the pictures.

The pictures section on Class Amateurs is a mixed bag. I like to start with the good, and the good thing about these pictures are that they are very nicely shot, they look great, and they are very presentable and clear. File sizes are very managable as well, which can be good and bad.. and is on this site. The pictures section is set up very odd, a design I've never really seen too much on a porn site. Instead of having thumbnailled pictures, they have four of the big size pictures per gallery page, and then a next button to get to the next four. Needless to say, I didn't like this set up at all. Seeing the pictures like this was so disheartening for me, because I really liked the content. It's just a mess though. First of all, each set has about ten pages of pictures.. which is a pain to navigate. You end up searching for and using the "next" button entirely too much. It's just tedious, especially since a lot of the photos look the same, and it's like pulling teeth to get to what you want. And considering that the girls don't shed much clothing until the VERY end of the sets, you have to wade through a lot of clothed poses (which is fine but annoying if you wanna see some boobie) to get to the naked stuff. I could go on for a while how thumbnails would be better, but nobody wants to hear a constant bitchfest on an otherwise good site.. so I'll stop. One more thing, the pictures are kinda small, considering four fit comfortably on a screen, you can imagine it. The setup differs, sometimes there are two pictures per page or 3 and sometimes just one, the picture size doesn't get much bigger though.

Well, with well shot pictures, you would expect some nice videos as well. Let me first point out that this is not a video site, not at all, and pictures are a primary focus and videos are just a nice little extra. The videos come in three different forms. They most recently switched over to WMV, but in the past they have used the MPG and M1V formats as well. I like having everything one format so it'd be cool if they went back and converted, if possible. The videos are not long at all.. averaging about one minute each, these are more like "clips." That makes for easy download and small hard drive storage, but us broadband hogs will feel a little left out! The movies run well, and despite their pretty small file size (2 mb average) I could full screen them and have them look pretty good! So good work on those aspects. One problem with the videos section is while the newest videos have little thumbnails and tell the models name, the older videos don't. So after you download the new stuff, it's pretty much a guessing game. It'd be nice if they at least included the models name so you can see if your favorite girl is on there.

With sites like this, the question often arises.. "exactly how softcore is it?" Well, the action on Class Amateurs is not hardcore by any measure. In the typical set, you get about 20 pictures of clothed shots, very nice and somewhat revealing yet classy, and then a slow strip with a little rubbing and stuff. Theres not a lot of pussy shots, but they are in there. There is a lot of classy clothed stuff. I'd say this is definately not a site for hardcore fans at all, but softcore fans will definately love the content. Another genre that I'm not sure if they were aiming at or not would be leg fans. There are some gorgeous leg shots on this site, and I would have been saving pictures like a crazy man if it had not been for the site setup.

I've already talked about site setup quite a bit, but theres a few more things that need to be touched on. The first is the main page. When you go on, theres names of all the models and when you roll over their name you get a picture and if you click on it, you go to a page. Problem? The page only contains the models bio, no pictures or videos link. So it's kinda useless to have on the front page. When you go to the photos section, you only get the ten latest updates. If you pick a models name on the side drop down, you can get their ten latest. To get the rest you have to use the archive, which is big and cool but also set up like everything else. It just seemed like a hassle to get to the content. I just think the site could use a major overhaul, just the way it was set.

The girls on Class Amateurs were awesome. They are amateurs, girl next door types, but I just found many of the girls on here CUTE. Everyones tastes are different, but this is one of the better collections of cute girls I've seen on the net. The girls range in age, are all white, and all have pretty nice bodies and cute faces. The webmaster Elizabeth is extremely, extremely hot, tall redhead. My favorite type of girl. Theres also Aimee, who is a short cute girl. And Victoria, mmm, just a hot, tanned, wonderful looking girl. What a nice selection and difference among girls too. Theres 11 models in all, each with a multitude of sets each.

The bonuses on Class Amateurs are great. My favorite was a sexual "choose your own adventure" game like we played when we were kids. I picked Elizabeth for mine.. surprised? You select one of three things to do/say to the girl and the story movies on, each ones accompanied by a new picture. Not bad. Theres also the bios, which as far as bios go, are EXTREMELY well done and just a little misplaced on the front page. Awesome bios though. Theres also a couple of screensavers, some jokes, and a few leased sites as well.

The content on Class Amateurs is stunning. With almost 400 sets of material, there is plenty to go through as far as pictures go. The videos are a little less bulky, but they are a very cool extra. You won't be disappointed content-wise, thats for sure.

Conclusion

Class Amateurs is a good website, which suffers mainly from a very weak design. The site just needs an overhaul as far as setup, and maybe make the pictures a little bit bigger. As it is, if you like this type of material and don't mind wading through some galleries set up poorly, by all means join. I thought everything was strong but with the weak design it just doesn't hold together well.
