| Review of Climax Corner:
You would think that after doing this for over two years I would have gotten my inbox in order so that I never missed a mail right? Well it still happens that a mail gets lost among the huge amount of spam and virus worm mails and if it hadn't been for the persistence of the climaxcorner.com webmaster this review probably wouldn't have been written, let this be a lesson to all of you, if you don't get a reply to your mail, do not assume that it has been properly received ;)
Climax corner is indeed a diamond in the rough for all porn lovers, especially for those who are tired of putting on the hat, the trench coat and the glasses with the fake mustache to go buy or rent a good porn flick at the local porn shop (maybe on the corner?). I know I got tired of it a long time ago, plus the mustache was giving me a rash. So the internet has been my salvation for a while also because you can find porn here than you can't find anywhere else, well Climax Corner is not exactly like that, in fact it's more like the digital version of your local corner shop.
I wasn't quite sure what kind of site I was dealing with before I logged in to the members area, the tour of course promised me all kinds of stuff like how many GB of porn you could download and it lets you preview the scenes through loads of small screencaps and a sample movie, all this put together makes it virtually impossible for you NOT to know what you are spending your money on. Still it wasn't till I actually logged in to the members area that I realized that all the videos were actual DVD movies ripped and put online, I think on the tour it could be nice to see the DVD listing of the movies available as you can in the members area, this would make it easier to determine whether you have already been through this material or not. This is relevant because we are in no way dealing with exclusive videos.
The videos you get here might be familiar to a lot of people, especially people who already tried out a deluxepass.com membership or other sites like fuckplex.com or xoticteens.com and more. A lot of the movies here are from Red Light District and I recognized quite a lot of them myself.
Ok so it's not exclusive, they don't claim it is either and we do have the option of going through the scenes here so if you discover later that you might have seen some of the videos before you can't really blame Climax Corner for that. Also, as opposed to a lot of other sites their price reflect the fact that it's not exclusive, I mean, $10 a month… I wouldn't mind keeping my membership running here for my random porn fixes here and there.
As you will also be able to tell from all the sample movies you can dig your way through on the tour the quality of these videos are top notch so it's not because they are saving on their bandwidth bill, not at all. They actually have a great way of navigation the site and though you can download the scenes in there entirety (one file! Oh thank you so mucho!) they have a smart way of letting you download sections of a scene as well. Once you have selected a scene you will see the scene as thumbnailed screen dumps every 28 seconds, if you want you can just click the part you want to see and download that clip, I just couldn't be happier with that way of doing things.
At the time of this review they had 91 complete DVD movies online, that is a shitload of movies, and if you assume that each DVD has approximately 6-7 scenes you know you are in for a treat, and all this in extremely high quality WMV files with complete clips for $10 a month I would call this a great bargain for those who haven't seen these clips before, even so, 2-3 new dvd's are added each week which would be 14+ scenes, all I can do is highly recommend this site, I don't think I can find a better bang-for-my-bucks-value anywhere else. Oh and one final thing, speed was perfect for me during my entire visit.
This site wins on it's discount price, however, for more access to more movies you can also check out deluxepass.com which gives you around 1500 DVD movies, they are just spread out over several sites. Also VideosZ.com which has more movies, more formats and great navigation is worth a shot if you are looking for downloadable dvds.
