Review of Ebony Players:
Believe it or not, some of you reading this review will not be aware that this is actually a "black" site. The name of the site is so politically (in) correct that some people will have no idea what ebony is all about, thus this small intro. Basically when you come across the word ebony it's usually related to porn with black girls in it, nuff said.
When I start writing this review, one word comes to mind "boring". I can't help it this site is simply boring. Lack of options and poor design really gives you the feeling that you are wasting your time here. In all fairness they do have a lot of "ebony" pictures and they are nice quality and thumb nailed once you have chosen a category like this:
PICTURE GALLERY 1 25
PICTURE GALLERY 2 25
PICTURE GALLERY 3 25 ....
now isn't that easy to navigate? All this does is show that they have just jammed all the pictures sets they have bough elsewhere together and have come up with nothing more inventive that "pictures gallery number blah". But the pictures are not of bad quality or anything, they range from medium to high quality, but it mass-produced pictures you have seen 100 times before with the black theme as the only thing going for them.
Now I also took a look at some of the video feeds, and it's not all bad. The quality is definitely not high, but file sizes are small and you get a nice selection of the type of media you prefer (I always go for mpeg). The two clips Í saw were a bit grainy but very watchable.
You also get access to black E-zines (only one actually, not plural). That is probably the most exciting part of the site but it's not theirs so I won't praise it too much.
