| Review of Pro Adult:
I have avoided reviewing Adult Verification Systems for a while because I really don't like them myself. AVS' are always a huge collective of all kinds of sites offered to the end user at one collective price. As such you have to love the idea, you know, more bang for your buck and all that. However when you browse through an AVS you really get the feeling that it's one company building 5 sites a day simply to be able to say "1000 sites for the price of 1". The site that made me look closer to ProAdult was weplay2gether.com. I was asked to do a review of this site but declined when I found out it was an AVS site. However I was a bit curious about ProAdult because this one site looked like it could easily have scored 3½ stars on it's own.
ProAdult started up in 2001 and has been expanding it's quantity of sites ever since. They offer you a one year membership for $24.95 and here it is important to notice that this just gets you access to the regular sites and the first month you also get access to the quantum sites, confused yet? It's quite simple really, they have two types of membership, the regular gets you access to some sites and quantum simply gives you access to more.
To sum up: If you sign up for the 1 year membershipt for $24.95 you do get access to quantum sites the first month, if you want quantum access after that it's 24.95 a month.
I can't say how many sites you get access to with your proadult pass but the regular alone gets you access to hundreds of sites, keep in mind that most of these are made very very quickly, infact many of these sites could have been created in less than an hour easily. The quality all around was ok they though it ranged a lot from good quality to sometimes below medium but usually it was good and I think that 1 year for $24.95 to the regular sites alone is a cheap buy if you are into "random" porn. I still prefer a good built regular paysite though.
If you want access to the sites that have more dedicated webmasters, frequent updates better quality you have to shell out for the quantum access. No doubt this is what they are trying to sell you and I actually felt that you get a shitload of quite good sites for $24.95. I went in through weplay2gether.com and followed some of the quantum suggestions to see some more good quality sites and after going through this list I easily felt like I got my moneys worth.
Price:
1 year REGULAR access + 1 month quantum access: $24.95
1 month quantum access herafter per month: $24.95
Conclusions:
AVS' are here to stay with more and more end users out there demanding shitloads of random thrown together porn. ProAdult wins me over with their quantum access which has a lot of pretty good sites, and the fact that 1 year access for $24.95 for the regulars is a nice buy too, check out if you are an AVS freak ;)
