| Review of Dionysian Archives:
Darchives is an abbreviation of Dionysian Archives. Now before I begin praising this site to the skies, I'm going to show off a little, because I actually looked "Dionysian" up on the net and this is where the word comes from:
"the god of wine and revelry, of ascending life, of joy in action,
of ecstatic emotion and inspiration, of instance and adventure and dauntless suffering, the god of song and music and dance and drama... fecundity... power... erotic instinct... passion... sensuality... war... perversity... desire.... potency... obsession... pleasure..."

Well this is not my average run of the mill let's list the content review. This site actually knocked me off my feet, with the best, no doubt the very best quality of both pictures and video (the video clips are the best out there).

The site is built up a little differently than what you might expect. Your username and password does not give you unlimited access to all the content, in fact, the username and password is free, anyone can register within 30 seconds. The trick is that you have to buy credits to view complete photo shoots or 4 minutes video clips. Darchives.com gave me 30 credits to do this review and boy did I have a great time.
It all started out a bit rough for me, since I don't know my IE very well and this is what the site is optimized for I had some problems downloading the material (only my fault!), so I had to switch to Netscape, and here I had to install a java run time environment to browse the site. My point here being that you need java to browse here.
I kicked it off by downloading one of their latest photo shoots it cost me 4 credits for 70 ultra high quality/resolution pictures. The pictures really were nothing short of outstanding and I remember thinking: "let's suck all the pictures out of this site!", but sadly I only had 30 credits. Next on my list was a girl/girl video clips of 4 min. duration. I chose the highest quality clip (68 MB) and that also cost me 4 credits. I do this because I am on a 2 mbit connection of course, this would not be recommended for dial-up users at all, which they also inform you on the page.
My eyes almost popped out of their sockets when I saw these clips, never in my time as a reviewer have I seen such outstanding full screen high quality video clips, if I had some special video clip medal I would pin it on this site ASAP! But before I get too carried away, let's take a lot at how much quality loss there is if you download the same clip in smaller size.
Well the same clip could be downloaded a 14MB file size, I checked it out, and of course there was a loss in quality, but it was still very much viewable in full size at 1024*768 resolution. The sounds is mono and not stereo like the big sized, but you don't notice much. All in all this sites video clips are the best on the net in my opinion.
It also doesn't hurt when these girls are natural looking, amateur like, and they have all been fixed up just a little to look great all the way, a lot these girls rated very high on my brand new Cutie-O-Meter.
I must admit I didn't like the navigation all that much. Don't get me wrong you are well informed in everything you do. You know exactly how a shoot is before you download it, you can preview pictures and see a still shot from the video clips, also each model shows images keys which tells you what this girls has done e.g.: video clips, photos, girl/girls, new, smoking etc. and it tell you how much of each. No complaints there. However the site comes off a bit messy and dark and no doubt it takes some getting used to. Once you get used to it and learn to use all the info you are pretty much guaranteed to find what you are looking for.
The updates are not a standard of some sort, but from what I gather, around 2 new photo shoots and a mini-movie videoclip is what they add in average a week. The updates are not as important here as other sites because of the whole credit system, you will need a lot of money to go through the entire content here, and trust me there is a enough for any of you.

- all girls offer a free sound clip you can listen to before downloading anything from them
- If the girls have a "custom" image showing this means you can suggest the theme/location for her next shoot.
- The site is best browsed with Internet Explorer or Opera 6.0 and you need java enabled
- All the video clips are DivX encoded, you need the codec to view the clips, the site links to the install file.

30 credits: $24.95
Conclusion:
I don't like the whole credit system much because it prevents me from sucking this site completely dry which is what I really wanna do right now, and even with the credit system I wonder if 50 credits for $24.95 wouldn't be more fair. Well I'm not the judge of that, you are, you've heard about the outstanding quality, you know it's cute girls and you know there is lots of it, the rest I leave to you. I highly recommend this site, HIGHLY!
- only reason I don't give this site the full 5 stars is because of the credits being a bit pricey and need for java when navigating.
