| Review of Ugly Whores:
I've encountered all kinds of actresses in my porn viewing days. You have your young ones, your old ones, black, white, I think I've seen it all. I've even seen a few girls with penises, by accident, of course. In the mix, there are always some, well, some ugly girls. However, the sites usually don't admit this. Instead, they point to other aspects "look at that ass" or they simply don't say anything. Well, how about a site that focuses on ugly girls? Ugly Whores is just that.
Having a theme like this is a double-edged sword. First of all, its pretty unique, and kind of funny looking at the name and all. However, how many people are really going to sign up for a site named Ugly Whores? Well, some of us might enjoy seeing some ugly girls get banged. Hell, that is probably what a good portion of us have to see on a nightly basis, so why not watch it in our porn as well? I thought it was a cool concept, so I decided to jump on what could be a very interesting site.
Jumping into the home page, you get a very simple design. You see some thumbnails of the latest updates. There are six thumbnails of the latest sets. There are bars for both Top Rated sets and News, although neither has any substance to it yet. Each set has a timestamp and the thumbnail is good enough to give you an idea of what is going on in the set. From this page, you can go to pictures, videos, or a page showing the models. This is pretty bare bones, and it's not too sophisticated at all.
Hitting the videos section, you get a page similar to the front page. The same one thumbnail approach. You click on the picture, get another page with more thumbnails, and you just download it there. Some of the sets will have a few segments, and on top of that, also have a preview trailer you can download. There is only one quality, one speed, one format of video that is available here. That would be AVI's encoded in the DIVx format.
While they are not much for options, at least the quality is pretty good. The videos are pretty clear and they look pretty good when you bring them up to full screen. They play through like professional videos, and are crisp and clear. Everything comes out nicely with the videos. This kind of plays like European porn, which I believe goes along with a lot of the girls names on here. So overall for the videos, you get some decent content through and through.
Ugly Whores also has a pictures section. The pictures section is quite good, actually. These are high quality, professionally taken pictures here. Unlike a lot of pictures sections recently, these guys take a crack at doing a lot of closeups, a lot of different angles as well. I like the way they did this really. Sure, the girls are ugly, but that doesn't mean the pictures can't be pretty! They are, and overall a good picture section.
To what I think might be the biggest problem of the site- the girls really are not too exciting! These girls are toothless, fat, and old! Now, I'm not saying I wouldn't toss them a little something- I probably would! I just wouldn't admit it to my friends. Seriously, I think they should have just stayed with the ugly theme- have some ugly girls with some sweet bodies, and you have a nice little site. Throwing in the fat and the old doesn't really help the situation too much- I think they should have stayed with just the uglies. The action here is pretty nice, again good camerawork and fun all around.
At the time of review, there are a total of 33 video sets and 18 picture sets. There are no bonus sites, however, the site is updated several times a week according to the timestamps. Therefore, you will get more and more content, as time goes on.
Conclusion
This is a nice theme with decent execution. What it really is missing is some personality. If this was done in more of a reality tone- "searching out uglies to plug up!" or something like that, it would be more exciting. Instead, the theme hurts it. It exposes the not so attractiveness of the girls, without exploiting it. I think that is the sites biggest problem. Other than that, everything is intelligently done.
