| Review of Teenie Palace:
Today I am going to take you someplace special. Normally I take you to seedy porn sites. Today I will take you to a palace. Hey, this palace just happens to be a seedy porn sites, so don't get this mixed up with the travel channel or anything. But getting back on track, today we visit a palace. A palace of teenage girls. Some people might jump at attention right there. But wait, there is more. It is not just a palace of teenage girls, it is also a DVD palace. Got your attention yet? Welcome to Teenie Palace.
Teenie Palace is a site which tries to do a lot with their site. They are a full service movie and picture site. They also have a ton of streaming DVDs. They are basically a full service porn site. And the biggest downfall of this all is twofold. First of all, they are trying to appeal to fans of teens. However, these girls are young but they look easily to be early 20's. The bigger focus here is on skinnier, beautiful girls. But I guess Skinny Beautiful Palace just doesn't have the same ring to it. The second downfall is that a lot of this material is unoriginal and has been seen on sites like this before. That doesn't make it all bad, as I will explain when we get into it.
When you first sign into Teenie Palace, you are taken to a members page which immediately starts with ads guised as one of the girls favorite links. Yeah, I'm sure she checks the penis enhancement site daily. The only reason its a favorite link is because it makes money. So we start off on a bad foot. After this we get a list of recent additions and coming soon, with one thumbnail showcasing each set. This isn't bad. And underneath this there is a showcase of bonus sites, and then more ads, and then more bonus sites. Then more ads, and then.. well, it just keeps going and going. The worst part about this front page is that about 15% of it is dedicated to actual onsite content. It's plain to see that the webmasters are trying to throw a lot out to you. But in the process it just makes the site less memorable and joinable for the content, and moreso for the decent reality feeds and shitty ads.
With that said, we enter the pictures section of Teenie Palace. You can either go through pages of girls, or enter an alphabetical listing. Either way, when you pick a girl you end up going to the alphabetical listing anyway. This is just a page which lists all of the sets of a girl with her name beginning with that letter, with one thumbnail representing each set. You can choose high or low resolution pictures. When you get into the galleries you can't really move from page to page easily, there is only just the one "next" button. This kind of sucks because while the site is definately hardcore, sometimes it can take several pages of pictures to get to the really good stuff. That is the only real design flaw though, as the thumbnails are done well and the pages load pretty fast. The quality of the pictures is also pretty good. At Low they are 600 x 800 pixels and at high they are 667 x 1024 pixels. Either way they look really good. Pretty nice photo section all around.
When you get into the video section, you get a huge screenshot of the video for each set. You then get regular size thumbnails of each segment, and then the option to download full movies if you so desire. So you can get a real good idea of each of the girls. The problem with this is that it makes the page so damn bulky. I am all for nice, big preview pictures, but it just didn't look well in the page flow here. As far as the actual videos, you can download full movies in both WMV and MPG as well as segments. These videos are actually pretty good for what they are, with only a little bit of graininess at full screen. They do run well and look fairly good. And I am jumping ahead of myself, but these look a lot better here than the do elsewhere, and I can explain that later.
I also mentioned a DVD section. They have a section here where you can stream Quicktime and some Windows Media of various DVDs available around the net. Sure, you've seen them before all over the place. But at the same time, it is nice to get this along with the already existing big package. I would also like to say that it is not often you see them in quicktime, which may be a viable option for some, and others will just ignore it.
The girls inside the Teenie Palace are fairly young, attractive as hell girls. I will say that with all of the bonus sites and DVDs and stuff, as well as some of the actual content, the focus is taken squarely off of the teen thing and put more onto being a porn site. The action here is varied, but I will say that there is more solo action on here than you would normally see on your typical porn site.
With all that said, this is not an exclusive site. It has a ton of movies and pictures and bonus sites, but it has all been seen before. At least by someone like me, who is a vet of these porn sites! But I will make one giant statement here- I have never seen these videos look this good before. The pictures are about the same, but the videos really look great here. So I guess this ranks it a little higher than other porn megasites, but still unoriginal.
Conclusion
Teenie Palace is definately a nice place to spend a day or two. As I mentioned, it is not original and might not appeal to everyone. But at the same time, they stepped up on the quality and that makes a big difference. And that makes this a preferred site, what drags it down is the unoriginal content and that it is at times bogged down with a lot of junk. Overall you do get a lot for your money here but savvy porn surfers will know they've seen most of it before.
