| Review of Ashley Evans:
Certain names are just hot girls name. Conversely, certain names just never seem to be attached to good looking women. I think Jessica is a complete hot girls name. Is there ever a nasty woman with that name? I'm sure there is, but the odds are pretty good leaning towards hot. On the other hand, there is Margaret. Not exactly a hot girls name. Again there are exceptions. Why are we speaking of these matters, you might ask? Well, because I think Ashley is a real hot name. So when I saw the site of Ashley Evans come up, I was like, hell yeah, this girl must be hot.
It turns out I was somewhat right. Ashley Evans might be attractive to some, but I find her a little too much on the fake side. I am jumping way ahead though. Ashley Evans is the official site of porn star, well, I guess you know her name. It is a single model site with a focus on Ashley. She is an adult magazine and porn video star. You may have heard of her before, but her assets are some huge knockers. So that is your starting point, lets get into the site.
On the bottom of Ashley's page you are given a page of "pleasure broker" sites, which is the company behind this site. It just gives you a text listing of all of them. You can click on them and find out about them, but you will shortly see they are nothing special. I wouldn't even consider them bonus sites. That is because they are merely groupings of a few leased sites in the same genre as the namesake site. Not exactly an astounding page to behold. But it is what it is.
The site is pretty decent on content. There are close to 200 picture galleries. In addition, you get some video content as well. Theres about 28 video clips. This might seem decent but we will get into the inner workings of this later on. First lets look at those picture galleries.
The first thing accented here are very small thumbnails. They don't give you a good idea of anything going on. But I've always said that thumbnails on single model sites always give you a little wiggle room. You already know what the girl looks like, and you probably like her if you joined. Therefore you don't need perfect quality thumbnails. But you would like good real pictures, and that is an issue as well here. The pictures are combinations of promo shots, vidcaps from her videos, and actual picture sets. Now some of these are great quality, and some are poor. It's a mixed bag and I don't find that acceptable on a site like this. It is fine to have different types of pictures. But they should be seperated by type somewhere for one. And for two, there should be a consistent quality. I could look at one picture I saved here and say, wow, this is good, and I could look at another and say that this is absolute trash. You need that consistently not only to service your members, but to also help with word of mouth. And that is just missing here, and it also makes it hard for me to give you guys any specific review of the pictures.
The videos are much the same way. There are some videos that are from commercial videos. Some seem to be done on her own. And they all vary in quality, though most of them are WMVs. Now I said they vary in quality, but they vary from bad to worse. None of the videos here are anywhere near good. The highest bitrate I saw was one in the 600k range. And that looked pretty crappy even for that range. So basically, these are poor videos. Not to mention the fact that some of the advertised videos just try to get you to go to a pay per view site.
And advertising is the name of the game. The first thing you see, and the majority of the front page, is Ashley trying to get you to buy a custom video. I'm glad I spent money for an adult website just to be hit up for more business right away. These are just bad practices. Now, I do think that custom videos have a place in a single model site. But they should not be given the big treatment that they are given here. The rest of the site is poorly designed and just doesn't look good. It's just kind of a good summation to a completely weak site.
Conclusion
It's obvious what this site is missing, and that is heart. It seems as if Ashley, or someone related therein, put this together to slap together a few bucks and try to sell more of their stuff, and maybe kick in some revenue from pay per view but I wouldn't know, that's just how it feels. It's just a poor site all around, and I would stay far away if I were you.
