| Review of Lanni Barbie:
There are some women who are just absolutely beautiful. I mean, it doesn't matter what they do, they are a turn on. They can be mopping the kitchen floor, and you just want to make them drop the mop and take care of you. I don't come across women I feel this way about too often. When I do, it truly is something special. And I have with a girl featured on todays site, actually the site is all about her. So be prepared to take in the awesomeness and the beauty of one Lanny Barby.
Now, you might have heard the name Lanny Barby before. Other than being a weird name to roll off the tongue, (it really is, try it!) she is a fairly well known porn actress. She has also done some magazines like Penthouse, that sort of stuff. And I thought I recognized the name, and then I thought I was wrong. But I knew Lanny to be a blonde. When I see she now has some darker hair, I immedately found her a hundred percent more attractive. Gone is that skankiness look, replaced by a nice look of beauty, but with still the skanky action going on! So this site is all about Lanny. It's not really an amateur solo site per se, more like a celebration of a porn star with some nice stuff exclusive to the website. I think you might like it, at least try and like Lanny!
When you first sign on, you are given a members page which first starts out with an introduction from Lanny. You can go read more in her diary! Then, her favorite sets are listed. Then she shows her latest magazine and box covers. On the right there is a toolbar which shows recent updates, some various links, and thats about it. The site is pretty nice, but my biggest pickle with it is that it doesn't really showcase any of the real content of the site. It's a nice introduction, but I think showing some of the latest updates would go a long way in making this a better front page. I think the front page does succeed in being totally Lanny, and basically just showing what she has been up to lately and where she can be seen!
The pictures are the bigger focus here on site. Once you go into the pictures section from the topbar, you are taken to a page that has the pictures on the left hand side, and the same ole' toolbar on the right hand side. Each set is represented with one, big, nice thumbnail that gives you a good idea of what Lanny is wearing and what she is doing. Then when you get into the actual set, each gallery page has about 20 thumbnails per page. When you click on one to make it bigger, you can have the option of starting a slide show and deciding what you want the intervals of time to be: 3, 5, or 7 seconds. This is a pretty cool option, and one I was tempted to use as damn, some of these pictures are really hot! The pictures don't tend to be very numerous. Instead, theres a smaller selection of very well taken shots of Lanny! Overall, very nice.
The quality of the pictures is also very nice. They are 1024 x 681 pixels and they look very good at that size. They are neither too big nor too small. The camerawork is divine, and as I mentioned earlier, each set has plenty of shots, but the cool thing is that nothing is really overdone and it's very nice and compacted. Overall, you really couldn't ask for much more in a pictures section really. Just awesome. I was very pleased with the photo section!
There are also videos on Lanny Barby. Most of the videos were segmented, and some were WMV while others were MPGs. The videos, while decent, were definately not up to par with the pictures. The quality was about 596k, which is a nice midlevel quality, easy to download and viewable with some pixelation but not too bad. The MPGs were about the same level of quality. Some of the later videos had better quality. Overall, I think what they pretty much aimed to do here was to make a non threatening video section. It's good stuff, but it's also not really up to par with what she has done on videos and on some of the other sites. Still a good section overall, but it obviously wasn't the focal point for this site.
So you might wonder about the action on here, right? Well, Lanny Barby is a girl who is not afraid to get hardcore. But her personal site is more focused on showcasing her off. Many sets have her posing more, and yes, eventually she will play with herself, but it is ten times more tasteful than what she normally does. Now that is not saying that she is not in some hardcore sets here. There is some stuff with DP, anal, all that fun stuff. I'm just telling you where the focus is, and that is on the more solo stuff. And it works here because not only is Lanny a dirty porn star, she is also a very beautiful girl on top of that.
At the time of review, there was a total of 66 picture sets and 15 video sets. This is a pretty nice amount of content. You are also privy to some nice extras, such as her diary which I talked about before. There is also a friends section, which is basically a veiled attempt to advertise other girls' sites. There some behind the scenes stuff, as well as a scrapbook, basically pictures of Lanny out and about, sometimes naked, sometimes not. But still cool to see. Other than that, well, the site is updated regularly. At least once a week but sometimes even more. And they often post news about Lanny even if there is no update to post.
Conclusion
Lanny Barby is a nice tribute to a very hot porn girl. It can't really stand up to some single model sites where the models only do stuff for their site. Here, it's more like an additional thing. You love Lanny, love her in porno, so you sign up to the site for some great photos and a few nice videos as well, where, as a fan, you've seen most of it already. Basically this comes off as a spinoff site, the webmaster bought some cheap sets of Lanny and made a site, her fans will be delighted to see all this come together I'm sure and if you are reading this and like Lanny you just haven't seen much of her stuff around, this site will not disappoint you terribly, the price however, just might.
